your apperance or to just make you feel better about yoursself.
We have complied the following answers to the most common questions concerning
the LipoDissolve® Treatment.
What is LipoDissolve® ?
LipoDissolve® is designed to reduce the size of localized fat deposits and cause skin retraction
in body areas where treated. It is an excellent non-surgical alternative for those patients
seeking minimally invasive techniques to improve body contouring.
Am I a Good Candidate?
The ideal candidate is healthy and is within range of their medically ideal body weight with respect
to their height. This procedure works best for those clients with isolated problem areas that have
been resistant to diet and exercise. It is not a treatment for weight reduction rather to help
improve shaping. During your initial complimentary consult the nurse will review your height and
weight to determine your body mass index. You will be asked to fill out a medical health history to
better determine if you are a good candidate. The Doctor will then meet with you and review your
data and answer any questions that you might have.
What Areas Can be Treated?
LipoDissolve® is ideal for treating the lower eyepads, chin, jowls, cheeks, abdomin, love handles,
upper/lower back, upper arms, hips, thighs, and buttocks. There are several other medical conditions
such as gynecomastia, lipomas that can be treated as well.
How Many Sessions Will I Need and How Often?
Typically, patients need 4-6 treatments for large body areas. When you are treating smaller facial
areas such as the jowl or eye pads 3 sessions should take care of it. The frequency of your
treatments depends upon the body area and how much fat needs to be dissolved. Patients usually
return every 2-4 weeks for additional sessions.
What are the Potential Side Effects and Does it Hurt?
A very small gauge needle is used to deliver the medication to the treatment areas. Most people
experience only mild discomfort that is very tolerable. The most common side effect is localized
swelling that subsides in 2-3 days. Occasionally, some patients experience mild burning or stinging
sensation for a short while after the procedure. A mild pain reliever such as Tylenol is recommend
prior to the procedure.
Is There Down Time Associated With This Procedure?
Patients generally return to normal activity immediately. While some localized tenderness is to be
expected, overall, treatments are well tolerated. Most find the minimal disruption in normal routine
to be very appealing.
How Soon Will I See Results?
Most patients begin to see noticeable improvement after 2-4 sessions. While some people see
improvement sooner, we can not guarantee this.
